Daniel Saffer - Digital Orchard

In 2018, Daniel began their studies in Creative Computing at the University for the Creative Arts, gaining a Bsc in Creative Coding and Technology. During their course, they attained lots of knowledge and insight in creative practices as well as technical problem solving. Once Daniel finished their degree, they made their break into the camera department on-set, working as a Video Trainee on The Peripheral and DIT Trainee on The Nevers Season 2. They then moved into the VFX department, gaining valuable on-set experience in VFX workflows. In 2022, Daniel joined Digital Orchard officially as a Data Manager and began their first production working in a Dailies Lab in-house, then working on different titles such as “Locked In” and “Curveball”.

Since then, Daniel has worked as a Data Manager/DIT Assistant for several HETV shows such as “Silo”, “The Diplomat S1b”, and independent feature “Animal”. With the combined experience of Dailies, VFX workflows and On-set DIT and Data, Daniel hopes to progress further in their career and develop their knowledge on Data, DITing and colour theory.
