Danae Islas de Leon, a proficient DIT Assistant and Data Manager, first entered the film industry in 2020, making their mark as part of the Assistant Director’s team for “Dr Strange in the Multiverse of Madness.” It was during this experience that Danae discovered the captivating world of DIT and swiftly decided to make the transition.
Since then, the DIT department has become Danae’s professional home, offering the exhilaration of on-set work, the ability to thrive under pressure, and the continuous learning of data and image capture on the fly. In just a few short years, Danae has contributed to notable productions such as “Wicked,” “The Crown,” and “Queen Charlotte.”
With a commitment to ongoing development, Danae aspires to refine their skills as a Data Manager and DIT Assistant, tailoring efficient on-set workflows to meet the unique needs of each production. Known for their teamwork ethos, ability to bring laughter to the set, and a penchant for sarcasm, Danae is poised for continued success in the dynamic world of filmmaking
