Scott Nolan Video Assistant
After receiving a 1st class degree at the Northern Film School in Leeds, Scott quickly began work as a trainee, starting in factual entertainment, live TV, and theatre camerawork before moving into features and dramas. Some of Scott’s experience includes video trainee roles on HETV productions - such as Great Expectations and Invasion.
An eclectic working life and a challenge is what appeals most to Scott - every day, every location, and every setup throws something new into the mix, requiring attention to detail and rapid problem-solving. Providing picture to other departments is rewarding and fast paced work, and can make for creative solutions in unusual places.
Scott looks forward to expanding his skillset and video repertoire, gaining an in-depth understanding in multiple flavours of equipment and image distribution kit, whilst gradually investing time into learning Q-Take software. With a strong personal passion for celluloid workflows and motion picture cameras, Scott has a further desire to provide video solutions to analogue film and TV productions in the future.
