Mat Lester Video Playback Operator
Mathew explored his fascination of visual storytelling in Bristol, where he graduated from the UWE Filmmaking Degree in 2017. With experience as Video Trainee on ‘Wonder Woman’, he had a great starting point for a busy first year as a freelancer, working on both high-end TV and feature films.
Mathew has worked under Video Operators and DITs, enjoying the variety both bring to improving the efficiency of a production. He is competent at providing live picture and playback for any scale of production, from two camera dramas to six camera stunt units, and understands how vital it is for any Director.
The responsibilities and challenges onset always faced with a smile and a positive attitude. Mathew is looking forward to future productions for new challenges with exciting stories.
