Jack Lightfoot Trainee

Jack began his journey in the film and television industry in 2017, relocating to London to work as a driver for Procam. After a year, he transitioned to Shift 4 as a Kit Room Technician, where he developed a strong technical foundation and gained hands-on experience with camera systems and video transmission.

In autumn 2019, Jack made the move into freelance work, starting as a Camera Assistant on a feature film in Spain, and shortly after, worked as a trainee on the People Just Do Nothing movie. Following the Covid lockdown, he continued to build his experience, collaborating with a number of talented focus pullers on a variety of commercials and music videos, while maintaining his role as a trainee on high-end TV productions.

In 2022, Jack briefly stepped away from the industry to work in landscaping. However, time away only deepened his appreciation for the fast-paced nature of film and television. Now fully committed to the video department, Jack returns with renewed enthusiasm as a trainee, eager to apply his technical expertise and passion for storytelling as he continues to grow in the industry.
