Dean Otusanya-Wood
Colourist
Dean Otusanya-Wood started his road to film at The Ravensbourne School doing BTEC Media, which eventually led him to Ravensbourne University. Something that really caught his eye was colour grading and the technical aspect of it. He started working with Nucoda Film master as his first system and eventually transitioned to Davinci Resolve and Baselight. He started as a freelance colourist and editor working on his craft for 8 years.
Dean has always been interested in film production and the processes behind it, especially the technical side with cameras, monitors and lighting, mainly because of their involvement with colour. He enjoys working closely with Directors and DPs, getting ideas for looks and sharing what he knows from a colour aspect. In addition, Dean is very confident at handling, formatting and checking data from his past knowledge as a DataIO operator.
