Our brilliant trainees recently got hands-on in their first video session, led by one of our Video Operators, the extremely talented Pacu Trautvetter
From diving into the history of video assist to exploring the vital role a Video Operator plays on set, the day was packed with insight and practical learning. Trainees got stuck into:
✅ Setting up monitors
✅ Coiling cables
✅ Learning the essentials of a video rig
✅ Getting a feel for Qtake
✅ Exploring special features like Mix and Overlay
Pacu told us, ‘All in all I thought it was a fun day, and the trainees seemed to have thoroughly enjoyed it too - they even asked me when the next session would be!’
