Josh Hughes Digital Imaging Technician
Josh has been working in Film and TV since 2019, initially gaining extensive experience within the camera departments on productions for the BBC, Sky, and Netflix, before transitioning into the DIT department in 2021. This move was driven by a desire to deepen his knowledge of high-end digital imaging and collaborate more closely with DOPs to realize their creative vision.
Expertly handling multi-camera Livegrade jobs as well as on-set and near-set workflows, Josh is a solution-oriented collaborator. He prides himself on finding the most efficient technical path for every production, ensuring the Director of Photography is fully supported and the creative pipeline is seamless from capture through to post.
Josh’s recent credits span a variety of genres across film, HETV, and commercials. Recent projects include the Apple TV+ series The Completely Made Up Adventures of Dick Turpin, the Amazon Prime feature Maintenance Required, and the Oscar-nominated short film A Friend of Dorothy.
