Jo Barker Digital Imaging Technician
Jo brings over a decade of on-set and post-production experience to her work as a DIT and colourist, supporting DOPs from pre-production through to final grading. Most recently, she has worked on Beetlejuice Beetlejuice, Bridgerton, Meg 2: The Trench, Suspicion, Belfast, and A Discovery of Witches, providing professional dailies colour and contributing to final grading workflows.
A graduate of Prague’s prestigious Film & TV School of Performing Arts (FAMU), Jo began her career in post-production on both film and digital projects. Her early experience on archival scanning and high-profile grading assignments developed her efficient, calm, and detail-oriented approach, while exposure to top Colourists inspired her to start grading herself.
In her role at Digital Orchard, Jo has successfully merged on-set DIT, lab, and post-production expertise. As a Dailies Colourist on major productions, she creates workflows that enable DOPs to quickly achieve the early visual look of their projects. Combining her cinematography knowledge, technical skill, and passion for colour, Jo delivers immersive and compelling visual experiences for audiences.
