Jerome Smith Digital Imaging Technician
Jerome started his career in 2014 as a Camera Technician at ARRI Rental. Working in camera rental he developed a strong technical understanding of camera equipment and on-set workflows, which led naturally into becoming a DIT.
Working as both a DIT and Lab Operator he has built a clear understanding of the pipeline from camera through to post production. His dual perspective allows him to build reliable, end-to-end workflows that take into account the needs of the DoP and post production teams. More recently, he has expanded into on-set livegrade and Virtual Production on Sirius.
Jerome’s approach is collaborative and adaptable, always responsive to the cinematographer’s needs and supportive of the camera department. With a calm and considered working style, he focuses on ensuring a smooth and efficient process from capture through to delivery.
