Jay Menos McIntyre Digital Imaging Technician
Jay is a Northern-based Digital Imaging Technician (DIT), available to work locally across Manchester and the Yorkshire region, with experience in High-End Television (HETV) and feature film. Jay is also happy to make himself local in the South including London and surrounding areas.
Holding a Master’s degree in Film Directing and with early on-set experience in the Grip and Lighting departments, he brings strong technical reliability, a deep understanding of camera systems, and a collaborative awareness of the creative process across departments.
Since moving into DIT work in 2023, Jay has supported productions including Fackham Hall, The Long Way Home (Apple TV), and BBC’s The Jetty. He is ARRI-certified in Advanced Colour Science and Camera Systems, and is experienced in colour workflows, live QC, data wrangling, and complex multi-camera productions.
Outside of set work, he continues to develop his craft by DOPing short films, and by experimenting with digital and analogue camera systems, strengthening his ability to support cinematographers in achieving their intended image.
