Jay Menos McIntyre Digital Imaging Technician
Jay is a Northern based DIT working across HETV and Film. With a Master’s in Film Directing and early on-set experience in Grip and Lighting departments, he brings both technical reliability and an understanding of the broader creative process across departments.
Since stepping into DITing in 2023, he’s supported productions including Fackham Hall, the Long Way Home series for Apple TV, and BBC’s The Jetty. He holds ARRI certificates in both Advanced Color Science, and Camera Systems, and is comfortable managing productions with complex multi-cam data wrangling or offering live spot QC on set.
Outside of work, Jay can be found tinkering with digital and analogue cameras, or writing, directing, and DOPing his own short films, building on his camera expertise to help assist DOPs achieve the image they want.
