Jake Williams Digital Imaging Technician
From a young age, Jake aimed to start a career in the world of Film and quickly found a love for the technical and creative sides of filmmaking. Jake started his career as a Camera and Video Trainee, and whilst onset, he discovered his passion for DIT. He quicky moved in the department to DIT Trainee and DIT Assist to work on productions such as Spider-Man Far From Home, The Rook and The Nevers.
Jake then stepped up into Data Management/ near-set DIT and provided near-set dailies colour where he refined and expanded a passion for colour grading; utilising grading platforms like Davinci Resolve to accurately take forward the Cinematographer’s vision into dailies.
Over years of experience honing his craft and knowledge, Jake has moved into onset live-grade DIT where he was able to combine his knowledge of cameras, workflows and colour. He now has the flexibility to provide onset colour work or near-set DIT to suit any production or Cinematographer's requirements.
Jake now works on feature films and HETV including titles The Diplomat, Beetlejuice Beetlejuice, and 2nd Unit Silo S2, as well as regional South West productions like Rivals, Industry 3 and Havoc.
