Andrea Acs Digital Imaging Technician
Andrea moved to England at a young age from South Africa, living first in the North East before moving to London to study Fine Art at University. She quickly became drawn to the production and manipulation of images, both still and moving. Andrea’s first job in the industry was at a post production house in London, starting out by bringing people tea and biscuits, before working her way up to the machine room where she provided both online and offline support. Eager to pursue her passion for film-making, Andrea moved to New York and joined Postworks, working in film dailies. As the industry evolved, Andrea’s skills transferred to digital dailies and the file-based workflows we know today.
For almost two decades, Andrea has worked in the United States as a DIT and Dailies Colourist, working on major productions in places such as New Orleans, Charleston, Savannah and Atlanta. Her credits include many high-profile projects, including Black Adam, Shazam! 2, Ms Marvel, Gotham Nights, and Legacies, to name a few. Andrea brings a wealth of technical expertise and creative support to every production. She has channelled her extensive industry knowledge into the world of Digital Imaging, offering high-level support to every shoot she is involved in. She thrives in the fast-paced environment of being on-set, and being surrounded by fun, like-minded people is always an added bonus.
