We became B Corp certified in 2022 after a desire to spark change within the industry that we love, as well as an understanding for companies to be as sustainable as possible both to their staff & surroundings.
B Corp certified businesses meet the highest level of both social & environmental standards, as verified by B Lab; the non-profit transforming the global economy to benefit all people, communities & the planet.
We can assure our clients and stakeholders that we’re cultivating an inclusive, responsible company using our resources and platforms to empower & support others. Our goal is to stay as open and transparent in our performance towards the B Corp criteria as possible.
Inspiring Change
We want to see a more inclusive and equitable industry, and we continue to use our resources and Digital Orchard Foundation to achieve the following:
Working with local colleges to give film students the opportunity to come to Nara Park & our Scan facility at Pinewood, to shadow each of our departments and get hands on work experience.
We provide support, advice, and discounts to up and coming filmmakers and film and TV students on their projects, especially if it’s their first venture, to help individuals get a foot in the door.
We are committed to using our resources responsibly; through renewable energy, and recycling, repurposing & donating unneeded kit.
Digital Orchard implements an annual Mental Health risk assessment, helping guide how we take actions to improve the culture within our company.
We will continue to donate 1% of revenue every year to charity and good causes within the film industry, in both cash and in-kind donations.
We aim to use our social media platforms, our network of contacts and experience in our relevant fields to empower others in all we do.
